Hassan Khan has been active on the national music scene for over 20 years. He has worked with many notable and legendary performing artists such as Grover Washington, Jr., Eddie Kendricks, The Staples Singers, Otis Clay, Buddy Guy, Huey Lewis, Phil Guy, Junior Wells, Eddie Clearwater, The Five Stairsteps, Baby Huey and the Babysitters, and the legendary Buddy Miles, to name a few.

He was married for some years to the internationally known singer, Chaka Khan, during which time he was instrumental in developing her into the dynamic vocalist that she is today.

Hassan Khan has appeared in concert at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago, McCormick Place in Chicago, the Auditorium Theater in Chicago, the Apollo Theater in New York, the Howard Theater in Washington D.C., the University of Illinois Pavilion in Chicago, the Amphitheatre in Chicago, performed at the 1986 Los Angeles Summer Festival plus many more.

Being a versatile musician, on any given night you might find Mr. Khan performing in one of the fine blues clubs, funk clubs, jazz spots or reggae houses in Chicago.

His personal ambition is to master his instrument, to enjoy life, and carry the message of music, which is God's gift to him and his gift to the world.
